Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us or use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.
Who we are
X-Frontier L.L.C-FZ is a wholesale supply and distribution company registered with Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our registered office is at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, we are the controller of the personal data described here. If you have a question about this policy or about how we handle your data, write to us at hello@xfrontier.ae.
The data we collect
We collect only what we need in order to answer a business enquiry and to supply goods.
- Enquiry details you submit through our contact form: full name, company, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, the category you are interested in, and any volume, budget or message you choose to add.
- Correspondence: the content of emails, WhatsApp messages and calls exchanged with our team, together with the notes needed to follow them up.
- Commercial and transactional records: purchase orders, invoices, shipping and customs documentation and payment references, where you become a customer or a supplier.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page and pages viewed, recorded in server logs when you visit this website.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for special categories of personal data — health, biometric, religious or similar information — and we do not want it. Please do not put such data in the message field.
We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect personal data about anyone other than the business contacts who approach us or whom we deal with commercially.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare a price list or quotation and discuss terms — on the basis of your request and of steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To perform a contract: processing orders, arranging shipping and customs clearance, invoicing and providing after-sales support.
- To meet legal obligations: tax, customs, accounting, sanctions screening and record-keeping duties in the UAE and in destination markets.
- For our legitimate business interests: securing and improving this website, preventing fraud and abuse, and keeping a record of our commercial dealings.
- To send commercial information about products, availability and pricing where you have asked for it or where you are an existing business contact. You can opt out of this at any time.
Cookies and website analytics
This is a static website. It does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party profiling, and it does not build a behavioural profile of you.
Your browser stores your light or dark theme preference locally on your own device. That preference never reaches our servers.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. If we later introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent before it is set and keep a record of that consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only as follows:
- Logistics, freight forwarding and customs brokerage partners, to the extent needed to move and clear your goods.
- Brand owners and suppliers, where an enquiry concerns their products and where an introduction is the point of the enquiry.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf — website hosting, email, form handling, accounting and CRM — under contracts that restrict them to our instructions.
- The messaging platform our sales team uses to receive enquiries (Telegram), where a submitted enquiry is delivered so that it can be answered.
- Banks and payment providers, for settlement.
- Authorities, regulators, courts and professional advisers, where we are required or entitled to disclose.
Transfers outside the UAE
We operate across the GCC and work with international brands, so your data may be processed outside the United Arab Emirates — typically in the countries where our suppliers, service providers or destination markets are located.
Where we transfer personal data abroad we do so only where the destination offers an adequate level of protection, or under contractual safeguards obliging the recipient to protect the data to the standard set out in this policy.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are delivered to our internal messaging channel and also kept on our own server so that nothing is lost if delivery fails; both copies follow the retention periods below.
- Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship: up to 24 months, so we can pick the conversation back up if you return.
- Records connected to orders, invoices, customs and tax: for the periods required by UAE commercial and tax law, generally at least five years from the end of the relevant financial year.
- Server logs: a short operational period, after which they are discarded.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exemptions in applicable law, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
- ask us to restrict or stop a particular use of your data;
- object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable form;
- withdraw consent at any time where our use rests on consent — this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Exercising your rights
Write to hello@xfrontier.ae. We will respond within the period the law allows, and we may need to verify your identity first. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly excessive or repetitive.
Security
Access to enquiry data and commercial records is limited to the members of our team who need it. Data in transit to and from this website is encrypted, accounts are protected by individual credentials, and service providers are selected on the basis that they can meet an equivalent standard.
No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the competent authority as the law requires.
Business contacts, not consumers
This website and our services are directed at businesses — retailers, distributors, pharmacies, gyms, e-commerce operators and brand owners. We do not sell to consumers, and this site is not directed at children. Please do not use the contact form if you are under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date shown at the top. Where a change is significant we will tell affected contacts directly.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first at hello@xfrontier.ae — it is usually the quickest way to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UAE Data Office and, if you are in a jurisdiction with its own data protection authority, to that authority.
